May 2026: What I’m most looking forward to the most

Rip & Beth | Dutton Ranch

I’m going to guess you’re a lot like me in that you’re always trying to catch up on your TV queue. As of now, I have 40 shows/seasons that are on my list dating back YEARS.

Will I get there? Probably not. So let’s throw a few more on the list, shall we? Here’s what I have earmarked for May 2026 which is (thankfully) a bit less than the first few months of the year.

The Punisher: One Last Kill (Disney+)

S1 | 1 episode | Tuesday, May 12

Yeah, that’s right. One episode at nearly an hour. Not a lot is known about the premise, but it sounds like Jon Bernthal’s Punisher may have a final kill in mind. Or, maybe more.

Dutton Ranch (Paramount+)

S1 | Nine episodes | Friday, May 15

It seems odd the successor to Yellowstone is being dropped on a Friday, but here we are. I gotta be honest: I have yet to watch a minute of Marshals or The Madison and have heard absolutely zero about either on social or otherwise. After all the drama in how Yellowstone’s final season came about, this needs to hit and hit big.

Can Rip and Beth pull it off?

Spider-Noir (Amazon Prime/MGM+)

S1 | Eight episodes | May 27 (early drop on MGM+)

This is outside the MCU, but as a big Spider-Man fan, I gotta check this out. Here were my thoughts when the trailer came out.

Honorable Mentions:

  • World War II With Tom Hanks (History Channel)
  • Disaster: The Chernobyl Meltdown (CNN)
