Hi. I’m Josh and welcome to ShouldYouWatch.TV. (Yes, I like that name, too.) There’s also no AI used in writing anything on the website. I’m still a bit clueless about all that, and that’s ok.
I have been writing about sports and pop culture since the early 1990s when I was in high school, continuing at the University of Maine where I wrote sports for the Maine Campus for four years before graduating in 2000.
While working in pro hockey for seven years, I picked up writing again, focusing on the then-growing UFC starting in 2005. That journey took me to Bleacher Report, Fight Magazine, Bloody Elbow and various other outlets, doing radio hits and podcast appearances along the way.
In 2011, I started working with WrestlingObserver.com doing podcast interviews of MMA/UFC stars alongside Bryan Alvarez. I became a writer for the site and then, an editor. I am currently a contributing editor writing about pro wrestling and UFC in addition to hosting my Punch-Out podcast and guest hosting on Wrestling Observer Live.
So, what’s this website and is it about people in spandex fighting each other?
It’s all about TV shows that I like and that I like talking about. A podcast is coming soon, designed to be a resource for those who want spoiler-free suggestions on a show or even a specific season. Sometimes, there will be a guest and other times, there won’t. They will be under 30 minutes, all in the same format, and very accessible.
And sometimes, there will be spandex. Have you seen Peacemaker?
Thanks for stopping by. It will be fun.
