Two months down, ten months to go in 2026. As small talk goes, “it’s hard to believe.”
January brought us the first half of Bridgerton s4, Hijack s2, the super popular His & Hers miniseries, the latest entry into the Game of Thrones legacy on HBO, the surprise “Marvel still got it” Wonder Man, and Shrinking s3.
The recently wrapped February saw more Bridgerton s4, s2 of The Last Thing He Told Me, s2 of breakout hit Paradise and s2 of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters all kick off.
With several of those still ongoing, another avalanche of TV is coming in March which just started according to the calendar. Thanks to the always great Rotten Tomatoes compilation of big TV trailers for the month ahead, I have picked out the shows I am both intrigued and interested in checking out. The Hollywood Reporter has an even more extensive list.

DTF: St. Louis
S1 | HBO Max | March 1
I first read about this show in January, but there weren’t many other details about it other than it featuring Jason Bateman (everything), David Harbour (Stranger Things, Hellboy, several Marvel flicks) and Linda Cardellini. It’s a seven episode dark comedy miniseries that appears to involve some cheating, a weatherman, a crooked penis, and an app. Sign me up. Watch the trailer here.
Marshals
S1 | CBS/Paramount+ | March 1
The post-Yellowstone spinoffs have begun with this one focused on Kayce Dutton, the most violent of the Dutton family. It also apparently features a key character from the Dutton family that didn’t make the cut (no spoilers, but it’s not hard to find if you do a quick Google search of the show name.)
I’m a Sheridanverse guy, but this is the first one of this run to be on CBS which means no swearing or any of the things Beth is all about that you could find on cable/streaming. The final trailer makes this feel like a classic CBS procedural which I’m a bit allergic to, if I’m being honest.
In any case, this will make it to my TV at some point during the month. It’s a 13-episode run that ends in May.
The Madison
S1 | Paramount+ | March 14
While we’re in the Sheridanverse, Taylor Sheridan has another show rolling out with big star power: Michelle Pfeiffer (pictured above), Kurt Russell and DR. JACK SHEPHARD HIMSELF: Matthew Fox. Despite the trailer really looking like it’s on the classic Yellowstone ranch, it’s apparently not but the show is either still set in Montana or a similar place. So, there’s that.
This has a lot of Landman family first feels to it, but I don’t know much about the plot. I’ll know more when it launches mid-month with six episodes.
Rooster
S1 | HBO Max | March 8
This is a HBO comedy from Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses of Scrubs fame in addition to Shrinking (just Lawrence). There’s a big familiar face in leading man Steve Carell in addition to Scott MacArthur and Connie Britton, and is about Carrell playing an author who is asked to teach at the college his daughter teaches at due to her husband having an affair with a student and her burning down his house.
I’ve enjoyed Shrinking so much that I have to give this a run.
Daredevil: Born Again
S2 | Disney+ | March 24
I’m pushing all the chips into the middle of the table for this one. I loved the revival that launched last year and expect the same feeling for the next eight episodes. With this and Wonder Man, Marvel has had a nice revival of TV shows over the last year. Also, check out the entire run on Disney+ if you haven’t already. It holds up.
Honorable Mentions & Intrigue:
- Imperfect Women s1 | Apple
- American Classic s1 | MGM+
- Jury Duty s2 Company Retreat | Prime Video
- Scarpetta s1 | Prime Video
Of these, I am super intrigued by American Classic which looks like a feel-good show about an exiled actor trying to revive his small town home by saving the theatre he learned his chops in. There’s some star power, normal people learning to act, and some camp. This might sneak in…if I can figure out how to get MGM+ and what else is on it.
I should also note I never saw the first season of Jury Duty, but am still intrigued. The issue: finding time.
